HEART THAT COMPLIES TO THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, showing our trust
With His compassion beyond unbelief’s crust
That corrects us of discontent-disgust
For us to cleave to Him fully which is a needful must.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, manifesting our fervency
With His truth of wisdom’s persistency
That exposes us to Bible principle-consistency
For us to come to Him sincerely along His mercy.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, expressing our satisfaction
With His providence-provision of contentment-action
That disciplines us against prayerlessness’ malfunction
For us to seek Him constantly midst worldly invitation.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, exposing our submissiveness
With His guidance of Scriptural holiness
That teaches us toward dependence-fullness
For us to learn from Him willingly to continue in His righteousness.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, overcoming our complaints
With His graciousness, always gearing us since it never faints
That rebukes us whenever we grumble along disgusting murmur-taints
For us to call unto Him humbly with His blessed saints.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, conquering our worry
With His readiness to solve what we consider as mystery
That protects us against perilous woe and misery
For us to lean on Him constantly for joyous victory.
Our heart complies to the commandments of the Lord, reproving our indolence
With His power over slothfulness-prevalence
That drives us toward diligence-opulence
For us to praise Him blissfully midst prayer-filled sublime silence.
