HEART THAT COMPLETELY PUTS TRUST IN THE LORD

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to overcome iniquity
As we repent with honest sincerity
According to His righteous purity
Toward cleansing against infirmity.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to subdue sinfulness
As we seek Him with confession-conscientiousness
According to His holy graciousness
Toward sanctification against filthiness.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to vanquish pride
As we approach Him humbly, devoid of arrogant stride 
According to His Word as our guide
Toward abasement against haughtiness-slide.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to conquer idolatry
As we claim it with worshipful victory
According to His authoritative glory
Toward focus against selfishness-misery.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to avoid transgression
As we accept His forgiveness, devoid of guilt’s oppression
According to His purification with His supervision
Toward correction against indecision.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to straighten sentiment
As we beseech Him with prayerful commitment
According to His purging fulfillment
Toward direction against worldly enticement.

Our heart completely puts our trust in the Lord to confront disobedience
As we practice fervent faith and good works of stewardship’s diligence
According to His mercy and truth’s prevalence
Toward discipline against slothfulness’ persistence.
