HEART THAT CLAIMS THE WORD OF THE LORD Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His empowerment By His secure salvation’s settlement Through His promises’ strengthening enforcement For our character development. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His illumination By His precious precepts’ instruction Through His Word’s tenacious direction For our mind transformation. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His truthfulness By His mighty sanctification’s graciousness Through His purification’s righteousness For our motive’s cleanliness. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His authority By His steadfast supremacy’s sovereignty Through His statutes’ assuring certainty For our faith-security. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His nurturing By His bountiful compassion’s outpouring Through His loving kindness’ gearing For our service fruit-bearing. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His victory By His triumphant leadership’s history Through His miracles’ radiant glory For our Gospel-sharing success story. Our heart claims the Word of the Lord with His guidance By His faithful gearing’s governance Through His great commission’s assurance For our devoted willingness to obey Him along our ministry-performance.
