HEART THAT CLAIMS “THE LORD IS WITH THEE” PROMISE
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God by His might
Despite our incapacity of insufficiency’s blight
Amidst corruption of worldliness’ reality-flight
Helping us in our pursuit toward holiness-height.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God for His glory
Despite our inability because of sin’s injury
Amidst taunting of humanism’s mockery
Helping us in our goal to please Him against carnality’s fury.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God along His instruction
Despite our unfaithfulness triggered by challenges’ temptation
Amidst trials of spirituality’s function
Helping us in our determination for meaningful life transformation.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God in His standard
Despite our weaknesses in being His ministry’s steward
Amidst difficulties of labouring onward
Helping us in our involvement in His great commission’s vineyard.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God within His grace
Despite our disobedience of rebellion’s trace
Amidst motivation of haughtiness-brace
Helping us in our resolution to worship Him with joyful praise.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God by His Word
Despite our ignorance about truth’s record
Amidst treachery of deception’s board
Helping us in our maturity in using faith’s sword.
Our heart claims “The Lord is with thee” promise of God upon His way
Despite our anxiety in our troubled day
Amidst unbelief to keep us seeking Him as we pray
Helping us in our service along stewardship’s ray.
