HEART THAT CLAIMS THE DELIVERANCE OF THE LORD

March 13 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 9-11

Key Verse – Joshua 10:19 And stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities: for the Lord your God hath delivered them into your hand.

HEART THAT CLAIMS THE DELIVERANCE OF THE LORD Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our prayer-plea As He enables us to worship Him with grateful glee Surely teaching us that from sin-corruption we flee… Here we are learning from Him so we can become what He wants us to be. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our request As He allows us to abide in His will’s center and fullest Surely leading us to stay in His fellowship’s nest… Here we are striving to give Him our very best. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our need As He helps us that from selfishness we will be fully freed Surely loving us with His compassion constantly, indeed… Here we are anticipating for His grant, devoid of greed. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our supplication As He purges us with His sanctification Surely keeping us in His instruction… Here we are walking in the integrity of our soul’s conviction. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our concern As He rescues us from frustration and failure’s darts we can’t discern Surely securing us against vain worldliness’ tavern… Here we are cleaving to Him around His rules that govern. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our care-groaning As He attends to us midst our confessed complaining Surely affirming to us His mercy’s bounty so well-meaning… Here we are trusting Him with faith, on His promises firmly leaning. Our heart claims the deliverance of the Lord along our victory As He reminds us His presence against worry Surely enclosing us with His blessings in His service-territory… Here we are clinging to His grace in declaring the Gospel story.
