Key Verse – Leviticus 5:7 And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
HEART THAT BRINGS TO THE LORD SINCERE OFFERINGS
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with commitment
As we call unto His name in our miserable predicament
Especially during iniquity-attacks, bringing torment
That incapacitate us against spiritual involvement.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with divine cherishing
As we cry for His help in our weak languishing
Especially during frustrations caused by goal-crashing
That pull us away against divine refreshing.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with gratitude
As we cling to His holiness upon virtues’ fortitude
Especially during struggles in our attitude
That weaken us against faith-increase and good works’ latitude.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with humility
As we cleave to His truth in our laxity
Especially during doubt-bouts and perplexity
That drive us against trusting His authority.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with thankfulness
As we come to His throne justified by His righteousness
Especially during craving sessions while tempted by lustfulness
That bring us out against His will’s blessedness.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with victory
As we cast all our cares to His throne of glory
Especially during prayerlessness’ visits midst anxiety and worry
That thwart us against advancing His kingdom’s territory.
Our heart brings to the Lord our sincere offerings with delight
As we entrust to Him our concerns causing to us despair and fright
Especially during doubts’ attacks along unbelief’s blight
That discourage us against continuing toward heavenly flight.
