HEART THAT ACCEPTS THE CORRECTION OF THE LORD

August 25 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 46-48

Key Verse – Jeremiah 46:28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.

HEART THAT ACCEPTS THE CORRECTION OF THE LORD

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His graciousness
Through His Word of revelation’s completeness
Always exposing us to His greatness and goodness’ splendidness
While we submit ourselves to Him with willingness’ joyousness.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His performance
Through His work of life-building importance
Always opening to us His ministry and kingdom’s elegance
While we yield ourselves to Him with faith’s assurance.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His profitability
Through His ways of eternal investments’ certainty
Always teaching us about His desires and pleasures’ sovereignty
While we surrender ourselves to Him with humility’s sincerity.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His empowerment
Through His might of effectiveness’ endowment
Always driving us to His usefulness and fruitfulness’ enrichment
While we give ourselves to Him with devotion’s endearment.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His direction
Through His precepts of Scriptures’ instruction
Always training us according to His virtues and values’ education
While we entrust ourselves to Him with commitment’s dedication.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His victory
Through His wonders of miracles’ glory
Always inspiring us upon His leadership and authority’s history
While we bow ourselves to Him with worship’s story.

Our heart accepts the correction of the Lord with His light
Through His love of kindness’ might
Always moving us for service and sacrifices’ plight
While we bring ourselves to Him with devotion’s delight.
