HEART THAT ABIDES IN THE LORD WHO LOOKS ON OUR AFFLICTION

April 9 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on 2Samuel 16-18

Key Verse – 2Samuel 16:12 It may be that the Lord will look on mine affliction, and that the Lord will requite me good for his cursing this day.

HEART THAT ABIDES IN THE LORD WHO LOOKS ON OUR AFFLICTION Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our redemption Such gives us joy of our assured salvation Likewise iniquity’s justification… Hence, guaranteeing our eternity’s glorification. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our gladness Such secures us in His blissfulness Likewise pardon’s peacefulness… Hence, sealing our jubilation’s graciousness. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our strengthening Such fortifies us and our faith with His training Likewise virtue-attitude’s pruning… Hence, guarding our tendency toward sinning. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our obedience-exercise Such protects us from rebelliousness’ device Likewise stubbornness’ disguise… Hence, upholding our devotion’s ardour against being unwise. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our commitment Such helps us in our ministry-involvement Likewise soulwinning vow’s agreement… Hence, satisfying our contentment’s fulfillment. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our victory Such radiates to us His triumphant Gospel story Likewise holiness’ glory… Hence, brightening our success’ history. Our heart abides in the Lord Who looks on our affliction midst our prayer-plight Such enables us to serve Him along His empowering might Likewise stewardship’s Biblical insight… Hence, blessing our church engagement with His truth and right.
