Heart Sutra

          Heart Sutra

The moonlight, the firelight,
the scent of your cologne.
Enchanting, oh!
Our toes in amorous games
do play, shadow dancing.
The flames act as our footlights
and so......

As the first frost descends on
the one last, California rose.
Such unspeakable solace in my
intimate desire grows.
I lean on the tartan plaid coverlet
to kiss that Olympian nose.

Then...place my velvet-ribboned
pony tailed head, so gratefully upon
your crescent chest.

Just to hear the wind chimes of your
heart.
We, both so magically magnificent
and masterpieces of God's finest art.
Always together and never apart!

Your forever~
Panagiota

A very lucky man he was - the one with an Olympian nose! A passionate write dear Panagiota as always. Your Greek blood flows bright red, fiery and spicy - I guess we are just blessed - but mine is tempered at times by my 50% English blood. It depends on the weather - if its cloudy and rainy I think like an English poet, if its sunny and bright I think like a Greek! Hugs, Jenn.

What a beautiful passionate poem Panagiota. 'To hear the windchimes of your heart' - wow...You really have such a talent with your choice of words as you describe each sensuous movement. Ohh this is utterly delightful my friend. Makes me feel all warm inside! With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Many thanks, Ann. I don't know where wind chimes of your heart..came from. Sometimes as I said, poems write me, this is one! I was about to delete it. I get caught up in, the paltry responses. I see how attached I am to certain poems. I will write a poem about that experience. Meanwhile enjoy the fireplace, mate and tartan coverlet. Panagiota xxxx
