HEART REMEMBERS THAT GOD IS OUR ROCK
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our gratefulness
As He checks our obedience-fullness
In the light of His commandments’ steadfastness
Always bracing us against enticement of worldliness.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our commitment
As He exposes our dedication-fulfillment
In the truth of His calling’s encouragement
Always ushering us toward His kingdom advancement.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our diligence
As He affirms our conviction-persistence
In the declaration of His standard’s prominence
Always lifting us up from dominance of selfish existence.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our fervency
As He answers our supplication-urgency
In the bountifulness of His compassion’s mercy
Always blessing us despite threatening insufficiency.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our stewardship
As He guards our labour-workmanship
In the grace of His fellowship’s leadership
Always upholding us when tried along ministerial partnership.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our jubilation
As He enforces our worship-devotion
In the assurance of His salvation’s perfection
Always forgiving us for confessed transgression and corruption.
Our heart remembers that God is our Rock midst our trial-propped victory
As He strengthens our steadfastness to win tests against worry
In the counsel of His Word that declares Gospel story
Always cheering us to win souls while serving in His ministry for His glory.
