Heart of Narcotics

Drugged on the recollection of despair
Glimmer in the distance,
Brighter landscapes that fill the air.

This air is restoring everything.
Wonderful journeys await this sin,
Condensed smiles are lingering.
I'm ready to go out and soak it in.

Intoxicated on mournful memories
Faint glows encompass,
A ghoul is beheld in these reveries.

Have you got a heart of narcotics?
I don't believe a word you’ve told.
You claim you are of beautiful harmonics,
With my soul in your choke hold.
