Heart Of A Dreamer
A young girl craving for adventure;
dreams of life in faraway places.
And listens for whispers on the wind;
matching sounds with customs and faces.
She often sits on the beach at dusk,
watching sunbeams gild an azure sea.
And as Night's shadow envelops her,
her imprisoned spirit is set free.
She indulges in fantasy dreams:
while loosening reality's grip.
And eagerly bids boredom adieu,
for imagination books her trip.
This girl, with the heart of a dreamer,
hitches a ride on a shooting star.
And to return home, she has but to
open her eyes: home is never far.
