Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our daily spirituality
Midst worldliness’ vanity
To pull us from humanism’s futility
And materialism’s fatality.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our constant deliverance
Midst pride’s elegance
To drive us from haughtiness’ arrogance
And boastfulness’ endurance.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our effective stewardship
Midst indolence-partnership
To push us from negligence-friendship
And selfishness’ leadership.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our heavenly vision
Midst earthly pursuits’ temptation by His compassion
To carry us from worthlessness’ oppression
And carnality’s destruction with His supervision.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our righteous lifestyle
Midst wickedness’ dishonor-guile
To transform us from filthiness’ pile
And glory-seeking personal file.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our sacrificial offering
Midst sins’ torturing
To pluck us from false motives’ stirring
And guiltiness’ nurturing.
Our heart knows that God is entreated by our faith…
…for our devoted service-commitment
Midst unbelief’s bombardment
To uphold us from prayerlessness-detriment
And doubt’s attacks as He keeps us in His encouragement.
