Heart For Sale

Used, and slightly abused, heart for sale
Cost, not much, just a lifetime of love
A vow to keep me safe and warm
Your solemn promise to always be true.

Cost, not much, just a lifetime of love
If my heart is what you desire
Your solemn promise to always be true
That's all I'm asking of you

If my heart is what you desire
To share our lives is what I aspire
That's all I'm asking of you
After your vow, I give even the best of me

To share our lives is what I aspire
A vow to keep me safe and warm
After your vow, I give even the best of me
Used, and slightly abused, heart for sale

Touching piece reads like a country song. Enjoyable and a worthy write as well as read. Thanks for sharing your pantoum. I like the repetition and focus it brings to the poem.
