Heart and Soul

Heart and Soul

From the depths of my heart, thru the breath of my soul
You’ve held me in your hands to pliably mold
And I held on to you in just the same way

As we made choices together each and every day.
Two individuals with always the same goal
Running thru life with someone to hold.

When one fell down the other held on
As the other grew sick we regrouped to rebound
Life is a trial but with you it’s more fun.

And when we finally stop to reminisce, again we’ll be young.
