though still - echoes 
deep, popping up from inner vault of soul;
A sense of scruples inhibiting our
thoughts and actions
oftentimes
until 
grave

Anitha, This is quite a poem. One with intriguing title., 'Hearken' (Meaning of hearken in English: verb | literary - to listen) Very profound writing in 'scruples inhibiting our thoughts and actions'. Can scruples be learned in school, or taught from a book(?) Perhaps it is our family that teaches us; the meaning of right from wrong. My scruples would say 'Please forgive me for babeling on and on.' -Richard
