Heard Her Radio Song

Sweet voice calling me
From pedestal so high
Might never come down
So I'll climb up

Still remembering past joy
When love was new
Innocence still on lips
Trapped now in glory

Face in electric windows
Looking back at me
Once there each morning
Cheek on my chest

Singing passion in ear
My body her instrument
Played it so well
We became as one

Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."
