Hear Me
Criticized and mocked
All my doors were locked
I stood and knocked
Realized my journey was blocked
So ironic I wasn’t shocked
Not the first time I’ve been on the edge
I pray this time God hears my pledge
Dark days with no laughter
I’ve reached my darkest chapter
Is there ever going to be a happily ever after?
