Healing Hands
The hearts of men
Grasp for reasons;
Insolent of behaviours
They administer.
Who worthy themselves
As defending morals
With splendid mastery,
To argue intellectually.
Whereas hands calm the tide,
And wipe cataracts from eyes
To see deformed limbs move again,
And lungs flat lay lift the ribs.
How sweet it is
To meet the Son
In all His glory,
And be forgiven.
There is no salvation in ignorance,
Let not doors close in anguish,
Seize the moment and grab His hand;
Choose the Saviour’s forgiveness.
