Healing Flesh

Do not see me as I am

  Or you'll be disappointed

See instead my wall of flesh

  Dismembered and disjointed

I'll make sure the bones will mend

  And never show their age

Rest inside my warmest thoughts

  Of quiet tempered rage

Discover endless reasons why

  The flesh will always fail

Embodiments of truer cause

  Could look behind the veil

Stimulating piece of literary art that is sublime in form with a sentencing structure that is polished bright beyond the effulgence of any gem known to man.Sincerely,Eric

Masterfully written quatrain, Yoni. The second stanza is my favorite, although each one shows depth and introspection that is admirable. Hugs, Donna
