Healing

Life is much better today
Trauma has been staying away
My son is healing daily
I hold my head high
and keep my emotions steady

Addiction is hard on families
not just the person addicted
my son told me not
to care about his situation
to just cut him loose

A mother just can't quit
a relationship with her offspring
A mother's heart is forgiving
I prayed often and always
For healing for us all

Thank you, Miranda! It did come from my heart. I pray daily for healing for our family and for him specifically! It is very therapeutic to write about it!
