Heal
If you never take the time to truly heal from what hurt you, you’ll end up bleeding on people who never cut you. ??
Unhealed wounds don’t just disappear with time, they silently travel with you, shaping your words, your trust, your reactions, and even how you love. The people you care about might feel the sting of pain they never caused, and innocent hearts can become collateral damage from battles they never fought.
It’s not fair to them, and it’s not fair to you.
You deserve a life where you’re not held hostage by the ghosts of yesterday.
You deserve peace that isn’t constantly interrupted by old memories.
You deserve to love freely without fear of betrayal.
Healing isn’t a weakness, it’s strength. It means confronting the pain, learning from it, and deciding it will no longer define you. The process might be uncomfortable, and it might take longer than you expect, but the freedom you’ll gain will be worth it.
So, take the time. Cry if you need to. Forgive when you can. Let go when you must. Because your future doesn’t deserve to be punished for your past. ???
And the people who love you deserve the whole, healed version of you, not the one still bleeding from old wounds. ??
