Notes About The Poem

I walked into the family room expecting to see my husband watching tv from his lazyboy chair. I found him hanging upside down. We had a good laugh.

Ha! Ha!! However, I know it was not funny to him because of the pain. I found my husband upside down in his lazy boy chair once, but it was not because of pain per se that time. Somehow, it had turned over backwards with him. I had a really hard time trying to get him out of the chair, and then standing up and the righting the chair. LOL..Thanks for sharing this one with us. I hope your husband's pain gets better. Sara K

Kim, hopefully the contortions are helping him feel better. We will do almost anything to reduce pain. It's a significant motivator.

Dear Kim, My wife is always laying over a big ball in the TV room to stretch out her spine and take the pressure off her neck, which has been an issue. I loved your joyful word, and I hope your husband feels better. - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel
