He Told You He'D Be Coming Home Soon

Sleep like a baby, there's an angel watching you,
And the light outside will lead your daddy home to you,
Sleep like a baby, your daddy's coming home soon,
And he told you so, he's coming home.

Sleep like you've got a starry tent up over you,
The stars are shining on you and your daddy, too,
Sleep like a baby, your daddy's coming home soon,
And he told you so, he's coming home.

Sleep like an angel, the nightlight's on for you,
Don't worry your good dreams will come true,
Sleep like a baby, your daddy's coming home soon,
And he told you so, he's coming home.

Can you remember? It's important that you do,
Will you remember as you're making your way through?
You must remember, 'cause he told you so. It's true
When he told you he'd be coming home soon.

He told you he'd be coming like you'll tell someone you're coming like he told you he'd be coming home soon.
