He Promised

I met a man named Jesus;
Who saw my struggles and strife.
He made many promises to me,
That would improve my life.
He promised, He'd forgive my faults,
And wash away my sins.
He promised He'd redeem my life;
And protect me from violent men.
He promised He'd supply my needs,
For nothing should I lack.
He promised I could just speak it,
And have it becaused I asked.
He promised me I would never be forsaken,
He promised to never leave me alone.
He promised He would come back for me,
And take me to His home.
I asked Him; "Sir, how could this be,
"How can you keep all these promises to me?"
He said: "Because I love you and have made you My own,
That I will never, never leave you alone.
"I have watched over you and held your hand,
And given you instructions to the Master's Plan."
"All you have to do is to walk in My word;
And I will perform each promise that you have heard....
I PROMISE."

Hey Daisy Marie, A loving tribute to our Savior - and just think - all we have to do is "believe Him". A wonderful poem. Be Blessed, Neva
