He Never Did Exist

A spark would tend to erupt Igniting a passionate fire False security of being unstuck When he spoke of his desires A friendly face to all But eyes for only me He’d laugh at his own fall And dance through his debris Content in his resting state Sure to make me smile On any given date Making life worth while Despite his rough exterior A gentle, kindred soul A glimpse inside the mirror Could never make him whole His sex appeal would linger Long after the white dress, aged He would lick his finger And I would turn the page Him nor I, superior Parallel with a unique twist I can’t see him any clearer Because he never did exist

That was a wondrous twist at the end my friend! I'm sorry that this man never did exist for you Anna! It's tough when you are alone and don't have someone special to share your innermost thoughts and tender heartfelt smiles with! I've been there too, I think we all have to some degree! I just got lucky and found my special better half! What a significantly wondrous poem you have written! Great Work!!
