He Loved Me First

Before my birth, you called me beloved.
You chose me before I got the chance to gaze at your face, with so much at stake, you left the ninety-nine, all of them, for me, the one.

And now that I have given my heart to this love affair, they say I'm crazy but what they don't know is that it was you who fell madly in love with me first long before the earth.

Right now, as we dance hand in hand in the rain, my soul longs to dance with you in your paradise.
