Notes About The Poem

He Just Adores the Sound of His Own Voice

an incessant bore he droned on and on and on … where’s my gaffer tape! Based on experience at our meal out last night – he dominated the conversation at our end of the table and then didn’t stop twittering on even during the talk on the Chinese New Year. 01/26/18

The talk on the Chinese New year and their customs in China was fascinating but this guy 'twittered' all the way through and unfortunately hubby got collared by him when we went to a meeting on Friday - i had to wait 15 minutes for hubby to re appear:-( hugs jan xx

Yeah, that is a pain in the you know where. Some people suck up all the air in the room. I find those people tough to deal with. How do we tell them to shut up!! It's worse when they are loud too!

Jan's poor husband didn't know what was in store / And by a stroke of bad luck was sat by the bore/ The bore started up and took to the floor/ Jan's poor husband could take no more/so they heckled and booed him and that didn't work /suddenly they realised the man was a complete jerk. Apart from the bore, I hope you had a good time. Regards Tom
