He Has Risen

Easter is such a special time of year, a time of much laughter and cheer. Decorating easter baskets and such, and the bunny is a celebrated clutch. We prepare food and we celebrate, eagerly waiting for our savory plate. Easter means more, so much more, he has risen, tore down death's door. Christ is no longer in the sealed tomb, open up your heart and make room. Let him in and choose him this day for he is the truth, life, and the way. Hallelujah, he has risen, he has risen! * Wishing everyone a happy Easter 04/13/2022 Alexis Y.

Indeed, love those scriptures, we all need to read the bible for ourselves , I say don't rely on word of mouth, in these days but only the spirit knows spirit , and flesh knows flesh

I agree, one of my favorite scriptures is: Galatians 2:20, ESV: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

John 14:6 and 1st Corinthians 15 come to.mind, as I celebrate Resurrection many times a day. We ought to donutvwith each breath: we are born free & born - again FREE. (JOHN 3)

Easter for me is a deeply emotional time. When I watch a film about The Crucifixion of Christ, I sob my heart out when I go back in time in my mind to the actual event. And all this to safe man - a sacrifice of pure love for mankind. Hope you had an awesome Easter Sunday my dear friend . Hugs and blessings Jennifer.

Alexis, your words go right to the deepest meaning of Easter and why the celebration of it is so significant. "Christ is no longer in the sealed tomb, open up your heart and make room". Thank you for sharing this, and for your wonderful comments. Happy Easter, my friend ~ John

I think we need to do some deep soul searching about what's important in our lives and renew our spirit and our spiritual thinking, whether it's through faith-based religion or just through loving nature or helping our fellow man. Happy Easter

Amen my friend. So many fail to tell their children of the reason we have Easter. I have met children who don't know who Jesus is. Their parents never told them. Santa Claus they tell them about Jesus they never mention. What a crime. It's our job as parents to introduce our children to the one who is their REAL Father. Great job here my friend. A fave for me. God Bless and Happy Easter to you and yours. JB

Great piece with the special Easter theme Alexis, I like how you show the shallowness of today's Easter trivialities with the real message of Easter. Maybe one spell error in 4th stanza 2nd line where 'year' should be your. Have a blessed Easter, Gordon
