He Gave His Life

He gave his life to pay sin's price,
At the place called Calvary,
All this he done, all victory won,
His love for you and me.

He gave his life a sacrifice,
His redeeming blood did flow,
And still there's power for today,
To wash us white as snow.

God's love it is so beautiful,
That he should die for me,
And wash me in his precious blood,
To God all glory be.

The cross, the blood, the victory,
There is no better place,
To know my soul it rests within,
The finished work of grace.
