He Called Me a Limp-Clod

He called me a limp-clod.
What is it?
I have no idea.
But it made you mad?

I am furious.
I could hit him.
Can we ask him?
Okay.

What is a limp-clod?
A limp is my best friend and a clod is his name.
Your name is Claude?
Yes.

Are you still mad?
Not as mad, but I have not slowed down yet.
Understood.

Conversations with kids are so eye-opening, since they have not yet learned to censor themselves!

I love having them talk to me, because it gives me a clear insight into what their thinking is.

"Not as mad, but I have not slowed down yet." hahahahaha ;D So true! Once these things happen, it takes a while to lose the mad "momentum"...

Children are much more honest than adults I meet.
