You're certainly welcome, Judy. I hope everything is OK. A friend, who is quite a wit, told me the other day,"Mortality is overrated." I think he has a point.

Anne-Lise, I'm doubly blessed by your comment: 1) You say sweet and kind things about my limerick, and 2) you wish me a wonderful weekend. Thank you and thank you again. I'm fortunate, beyond measure, by having cyberspace friends such as you.

I value and appreciate your supportive comment, Kim. I suppose limericks are poetry, but they are not of the significance or relevance of real poetry—the kind that you so admirably write.

Thank you, Lindsay. It's kind of you to take time to comment on what, alas, is a less than sizzling limerick. * * * Time for a joke, told by Phyllis Diller (remember her?) It goes like this: "You know you're old when your doctor tells you they have discontinued your blood type." Have a perfectly wonderful day/evening.

Thank you, Jan. You're supportive of countless Soupers through the thick and thin of their work. That takes a charitable heart, for which all of us on this site should be grateful. I know I am.
