He ascended up into heaven Where He sits at the Father’s right hand Interceding for us, the sinners made saints, such a blessing His blood is on the mercy seat, covering our entire presence Cleansing us to a snowy white, without any worry or strife Because now that we know Him, there is hope of eternal life ~ He went up through the clouds Ascending far from the crowds Leaving us with His Holy Spirit The One who we should listen In hopes of discovering truth That will forever and always sooth ~ He intercedes for us, His followers Reveals the prayers of all warriors For peace, hope and faith, living love The welcome promises sent from above Prince of peace, Wonderful, Master of All With Him for us there is no way we can fall ~ He went up through the clouds Ascending far from the crowds Leaving us with His Holy Spirit The One who we should listen In hopes of discovering truth That will forever and always sooth ~ I’m so thankful for Him, my Savior, My friend, the one who freed my nature He makes my life worth living With His sincere, joyful giving Without Him, I’d be living in fear Now I can’t wait for Him to appear ~ He went up through the clouds Ascending far from the crowds Leaving us with His Holy Spirit The One who we should listen In hopes of discovering truth That will forever and always sooth

Thanks so much... I have trouble writing lyrics short enough to actually be sung... I try though. Thanks for your kind words. Blessings and hugs and love, Gina
