He and She

He lies,
He cheats

He smiles,
ANd he beats

Those things,
Chain us to our feet
And lead us to defeat

She cries,
She weeps

She hides,
And she sleeps

These were the days
She lay there, deep in rays
Her darkness, forever paid

They fight
And they bicker

Flickering like a light
On a decreasing wicker

He lies
He cheats
SHe cries
And she weeps
In those days of darkness
They found defeat.
