Hazelnuts

The coppice forest
leaves 
burnished green and gold
whose tasty nuts
fall
like dainty
parasols
one for the squirrel
one for me.

Some folks try to get rid of squirrels around their feeders, but not me. I'm with you! Nice little poem.
