Having Faith

I need not see God to know how he influences my choices in life

Having faith means believing in what we cannot see

I can't touch him, but still sense the ghostly spirit of the man who called me wife

Some people view the power of faith as a mystery

A bright future filled with love and eternal life they cannot foresee

Many congrats Carolyn for topping the list of winners in Dr Ram's contest. One should believe in God as in Sun, not because one can see Sun but because we can see Sun only because of HIM ! Luv & best wishes always - Hitendra Mehta

Carolyn, There is no mystery. It is simply the only truth a spiritual soul knows. This is so extremly moving. Love it, and thank you so very much for your very kind comments; they are my inspiration. Love, Lainie

I often wonder why others find it hard to believe in a God whom we can not see, when we believe the air exists though we can't see that either. Take it away we perish, the say as living without God. Very inspirational and introspective poem Carolyn! Blessings and love, Annalise

Sometimes faith is all we have to cling to and yet it still carries us through, knowing God is our rock is all that is required.. A beautiful entry Carolyn.. Wishing you all the best for Dr. Ram's contest, love Wilma
