Have You Ever?

Have you ever lived my life?
Felt what its like t be in my shoes
Then tell me why you judge me as you do

Have you ever woken up in the morning?
Wondering how you’ll get through the day

Have you ever despised life’s unfair rules?
That you are forced to obey

Have you ever sat numb from the pain?
And the unrelenting depression

Have you ever faked a smile to your siblings?
And tried making a good impression

Have you ever cried yourself to sleep?
From the oppression of your surroundings

Have you ever listened to a nightingale?
And the sad tunes it sings

Have you ever watched your friends?
Break out and be free

Have you ever wondered what its like?
To succeed in life successfully

Have you ever prayed to God?
And pleaded to pull through

Have you ever lived my life?
Felt what its like not to have a clue
If not then please tell me why you judge me as you do.
