Poem for contest
Was a big test
Must be funny
Right on the money
Now it’s through
Screen goes blue
COMPUTER CRASH!
Get up early
Feeling squirrelly
Need a bang
Coffee’s the thing
Get a cup
Pot burned up
FORGOT THE WATER!
Canoeing the river
Start to shiver
Waterfall in store
Get to the shore
Stayed with flow
Over you go
DROPPED THE PADDLE!
Fishing is great
Go to the lake
Boat along way
Anchor to stay
Get out a rod
Something’s odd
BAIT’S AT HOME
Apples are peeled
Desert for the meal
Bake up a pie
Can’t wait to try
Cut a small piece
Not fit to eat
NO SUGAR!
Buy home, in debt
Still no regret
Thirty year pay
Yours to stay
Have good job
Start to sob
