The Violence of Hate: Understanding Harmful Forms of Bias and Bigotry, Fourth Edition - 9781442260504

Hatred for some races there’re a few of us Whom we may not trust Some of us hate our fellow man just Cause for the color of their skins LET US STOP, STOP RIGHT NOW THIS HATRED FOR THE RACES But man about Hatred and strive What kind of world is this we’re in Some whites hate blacks Some blacks hate whites As some whites hate Hispanics As some hate Asians What kind of world are we in LET US STOP, STOP RIGHT NOW THIS HATRED FOR THE RACES When in the ground are skins decay Disintegrates What kind of mistrust, deceitfulness And haltered bounds us IN the casket, in the grave, and in heaven in hell Color just doesn’t matter For we rot and decay For we put on a new body Some of us will stand, walk before the Lord and God The other some of us, will just burn, rot and bust Into the flames of condemnation You see God and Jesus and the Angels are no color The color of their substances is love The color of their substances is mercy The color of their substances is grace May the everlasting fire come upon us to forever drown tormented yet we sin troubled, troubled a child, some of us repented not This is why we rot and burst LET US STOP, STOP RIGHT NOW THIS HATRED FOR THE RACES The curtain closes an empty jar on the table, a maroon smile there is only embarrassment tortured bleak, troubled times LET US STOP, STOP RIGHT NOW THIS HATRED FOR THE RACES God forgive us for the, hatred for some races So shall I love my sister, my brother No matter their color For there’s no colored God For His (God’s) mercy and grace Covers are face, no matter what color we are
