Hatred

These are the days when hatred rules False accusations are made by fools People are afraid to speak their mind In fear of the backlash they will find These are very sad times that we face When reality is, hatred rules this place Banks of fog are blocking people’s sight To facts staring at them, wrong vs. right These are the days we must get beyond It’s not going to be easy, no magic wand We must do best to retain morals and good For the fog to lift, to be where we should There really is a light shining for everyone Joy and equality following the path of the sun Let’s open our hearts one day at a time Let’s think about all these words in this rhyme Heidi Sands 1/20/19

Hi Heidi, I am sure I shall think of the words in your excellent write. We should all try following the light and walk into the fog that seems to cover our world. A timely message for us all. Sometimes hatred is hard to let go of. But it brings only pain for the one experiencing it. Words to think about.
