Harvest Moon

The skies are blessed with a spectacular magical Harvest Moon as it sits low on the horizon It's bright ambient orange glow at its zenith shining bigger and brighter Chords of moonlight shimmer as it stretches out to caress the waters surface Years ago its brilliant illumination would announce summers end while shedding light so farmers could garner their crops Still today leaves all beguiled by its powerful mystic full celestial beauty inspiring many to attempt to do justice to it's amazing seductiveness

Beautiful and descriptive, Brenda! The moon will never lose its appeal, especially to those romantically inclined. ~Warm regards // paul

Funnily enough, a couple of nights ago whilst out on the platform driving my mover, looking for all the long distance mail, that, predictably, had been overlooked, I glanced up and saw a partially obscured but beautiful, orange coloured Moon sitting low in the sky...did'nt occur to me, at the time, that it was in fact a Harvest Moon. Nicely espoused, Brenda - enjoyed! Lots of affection. :) john

this is gorgeous...i could see that beautiful harvest moon, which is one of my favorite to gaze at....the big orange sphere looks triple the size on the hill near me home as it's rising against the darkened sky.... beautifully penned my friend, love this :) hugs
