Harmony

T’was another day; Happy and gay; Few from different cities; Few from different countries, Reunions and conferences and get-together Were just a few reasons to be there? It was another evening and a tiring day. Back to the Taj; where I stayed. Until….. Alas!!! I heard deafening sounds Shaken and helpless; Wondering what transpired. Run!!! Run!!! Numerous screamed! Ignorant of the circumstances, Countless stirred here and there They were hooligans; they were inhuman; Bullet, grenade, bomb was all they knew. Firing at the innocent; From different facets of life; Banker, journalist, Senior officials were just a few. Then came the heroes; Few from the roof; Few already striking those heartless. Men and women; Old and young No religion and no racism. United were all. Praying for the near and dear. While most of us were saved; There were so many who were dead. Kudos to those heroes who fought! And boo to those who took the lives of many. Depressing and disheartening; Was the behavior of these merciless inhabitants? Who are they and Why are they here? Lets all stand united. Destroy the hardhearted; Peace be with all; Let’s fight against terrorism.
