Hard To See
This poem was written excluding the letter ‘C’. The thought of all the other letters discussing the missing letter amused me. Hence was born ‘Hard to see’.
‘A’ said to ‘B’
Who’s that fellow, the one before ‘D’?
I don’t know, he’s in front of me
And from behind it’s hard to see
He bows to the right, in an unusual way
And his friends are ‘R’ ‘H’ ‘L’ Y and ‘k’
‘E’ said to ‘F’, just listen to those two
Talking about letters, the way that they do
‘F’ replied, I think it’s a shame
That no-one remembers this letters name
The rest of the alphabet, gathered around
All unique...... in shape and sound
