Happy Valentine’s
Do you remember your college days?
At a school dance
Asked someone to dance
They asked you to dance
Is everyone still doing that?
Seems like it was a long time ago
Did we actually do those things?
Now think of it
I feel a little embarrassed
But brought a chuckle to my face
We actually did that!
Have no shame
Those little carefree days
We were so innocent then
Are we still innocent lol?
I think I am
I still think of love with open eyes
Watching
Don’t know what I am watching for
A connection
A sense of foreverness
Is that a word?
Don’t know
Don’t care
But something makes sense
Something makes no sense at all
Like what I am saying to you
But when it hits you
You will know
It hasn’t hit me yet
I am still watching it with open eyes
Until when
Forever? Haha
Yeah maybe forever
Don’t wait too long okay?
