Happy Place

The sky turns from pink and purple,
To the majestic blue,
The green-leaved trees sway in the wind,
The river flowing downhill,
As I sit on the green grass and wait,
The sky darkens to almost black,
And the stars twinkle in between dark blue clouds,
The full moon shines bright through tree branches,
And the cool breeze blows my hair slightly,
If only life could be so peaceful as night.
