Happy Or Sad

Some may be serious That is okay Some prefer laughter They both have their way I'm somewhere in the middle I tend to vacillate A foot in each world With both I relate It sure is great When happy comes by The clouds all part I only see blue sky When sadness visits This may not be the case Still it's at those times I count on God's Grace Whenever I look back At the end of the day Happy or sad I think both are okay

Happy is definately the way to go. I think people often confuse pleasure with happy and that often equates to an empty feeling.

Good one, Richard. How would we know sheer joy unless we had tasted sadness...In every life...a little rain must fall! Hugs!

I do my best to limit, I had enough in my younger life to last a few lifetimes. Thankfully life has blessed me since then.

Well Jack you certainly have a way of spreading the happy around, you don't keep it all to yourself.

It is amazing how us humans make something so simple so complicated. Thanks for your kind words. Have a great day.
