Happy New Year
On the first day of a new year
We have a lot to be thankful for
But most of all a lot to look forward to this year
May we all have health, the one thing most important as we grow older
Wealth would be nice but wealth is many things individually to all of us
Wealth of friendship, wealth of love
An abundance of things that make life interesting
I personally have the wealth of caring people like all of you on the "Soup"
So many wonderful. encouraging people whom I have not met in person
but who have enriched my life with your wonderful comments
People who have their own hopes and dreams but who take the time to
reach out to a stranger
It has been an interesting year for me and I know for all of you as well
May you enjoy the coming year and keep growing as the wonderful
poets and people that you are.
