Thanks. I didn't hear the prognosis. I'd guess it will be a hot summer. (I'm not trying to replace the groundhog).

Hi Hilda, haven't heard from you in a bit. I hope you're OK. From John's comment below, it looks like Spring is on its way. Uhoh, from Oliver's comment it looks like Winter is on its way. Hmm, maybe there's more than one groundhog, networked together, just like I suspect there are multiple Santa Clauses.

Good one except that concerned fella saw his shadow. He lives in my home state about 3 hours west of me. More winter on the way!!!

haha, I don't think you're missing a whole lot. The groundhog comes out of his hole on February 2. If he casts a shadow, I think that means 6 more weeks of winter. No shadow, and there will be an early spring. I might have that backwards.
