Happy Birthday Dad
In the mid of the spiritual souls
Sits like an angel my beautiful dad
Having people all over to extol
Celebrating his bday, he's so glad
While devouring the divine amirdam
While relishing the delectable songs
He does reminisce his fav payasam
And recalls the time we jollied along
Arises he from his virtuous chair
To run into us to share sweets, bouquet
"Hey Kannan, Only blessings you can share"
his fellow angels stealthily say
On glimpsing him caressing my head
I shouted " Happy Birthday Appa" from bed
