Happy Birthday, America
Though our birth we don't remember, for it was long before our memory
as we depend on those before us and those before we were conceived
To carry on, in the tradition, to reinforce what we believe,
but as we lose in what we value, there are those who have deceived
Yet on this day, a celebration to remember distorted facts
we know we somehow won the war but there is so much more than that
As for liberty and our freedom, we don't realize they're nearly gone
As cancer goes undiagnosed, we need to stand up and be strong
As we celebrate this day we're born, take a moment to understand
Reassemble from 'their' division (of us)
to fight the evil that plagues our land!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA! (247)
